Iôiôôôô iôiôôôô Ahhhh! The primal scream echoes in the Parisian jungle. Into three strokes of the vine, Tarzan tumbling on the banks of the Seine. Peaks on the Quai Branly, Roger Boulay (curator of the historical exhibition “Kannibals and Vahiné” at the Museum of the Arts of Africa and Oceania in 2001) dissects Tarzan. Hercules from its origins through Rousseau, Darwin and Kipling, its derivatives (Zamble, Akim and Ka-Zar), its close, starting with Jane and his jungle hot girls all over each other, the look leopard-nature, his enemies, traffickers to supporters of the machine … “What a hero for us? I try to answer this question, “says the Commissioner. To do so, in perfect anthropologist of our fantasies, it scrutinizes the myth.
